MED Certificates Renewal

FirePro is pleased to announce that the new FirePro MED certificates have been issued, this time by the BSI Group The Netherlands B.V., a European notified body.

In addition to the FirePro condensed aerosol generators included in the previous MED certificates, the models FP-4200T/TS are also certified by the authority. Also, the new MED certificates include a reference to Annex 1 of the FirePro Marine Manual, Version 5, issued in August 2021.

The MED certificate covers passenger cruisers, cargo ships, tankers of unlimited gross tonnage, off-shore oil platforms and other types of vessels falling under IMO jurisdiction.

This certificate is one more proof of our commitment to intensive R&D, stringent quality control and testing.
