Fire Protection of Rolling Stock 2023
FirePro participated in the 19th Annual Fire Protection of Rolling Stock Conference, in Berlin, Germany held on the 1st and 2nd of March.
Building on several years of success, FPRS, Arena International’s first on-site event in Germany for 2023, brought together over the 2 days, 35 exhibitors and distinguished speakers from the industry globally. Leading component and material suppliers, manufacturers and rolling stock operators brought with them and shared their experiences and insights on the biggest challenges and opportunities companies face in the field of fire protection.
More than 150 professionals from a variety of backgrounds and occupations, including train operators, authorities, consultants, manufacturers and fire system integrators attended the FPRS this year. They all had the opportunity to be informed about key regulatory updates and the emerging rail developments across the globe. Technical and strategic innovations and their impact on rolling stock, along with Fire Safety standards and regulations, were only some of the keynote speeches that participants attended during the conference.
FirePro was present as an exhibitor, and our Senior Business Development Manager, Demetris Constantinou joined our Regional Business Development Manager, who is located in Germany, Nicolaos Frangos, to present the FirePro product line, its certifications and its advantages in protecting technical areas of rolling stock and railway infrastructure. FPRS was a great opportunity for our team to network and to connect with international fire safety leaders and explore how the industry can continue to strive for better fire safety, both now and in the future.
