Electrical Enclosures & Panel Protection Technology

FirePro offers autonomous fire suppression systems for the protection of electrical cabinets internally, against fire hazards. Fire is detected and suppressed at a very early stage inside the cabinet - preventing its spread.

Protecting Electrical Enclosures from Fire

Statistics reveal that electricity remains the leading cause of fire incidents across buildings and premises. These fires cause severe disruption to business operations, and are a constant threat to buildings and human lives.

Electrical control panels are an indispensable feature of every industrial and commercial space. The electrical enclosure might be a single panel or a room filled with electrical cabinets.

The more equipment the more the potential for power surges, wire fatigue, overloaded circuits, oversights in maintenance and equipment failures. Fires in electrical panels left unchecked can rapidly spread to other equipment causing collateral damage and become a hazard to buildings and their occupants.

A Cost Effective Solution

The FPC-5 Fire Protection Controller, attached to a FirePro unit, provides detection and automatic fire extinguishing with the use of a bimetallic sensor or linear heat detector cable. It is powered by an industrial grade 3V CR2 battery.

Technology Benefits:

• Reliable & Cost Effective Protection

• Choice of Linear or Bimetallic heat detection

• 2 Years Battery Life

• Optional GTN-25 magnets

No Battery Requirement

The BTA Mechanical Protection Controller allows detection and automatic fire extinguishing with the use of a Bulb Thermal Sensor at a pre-selected temperature.

Technology Benefits:

• Reliable & Cost Effective Protection

• No Battery Requirement

• Optional GTN-25 magnets

Hybrid Power Supply Option

The FPC-4R Fire Protection Controller provides detection and automatic fire extinguishing in an enclosure with the use of a linear heat detector cable and up to two FirePro units. Volt free contacts are available to signal fire conditions to plant or other monitoring equipment. The FPC-4RM powered by a 3V CR2 battery.

Technology Benefits:

• Reliable & Cost Effective Protection

• Linear heat detection

• External Power Signalling(Activation Status)

• Optional GTN-25 magnets Connects up to 2 FirePro Units

A Fully Integrated System for Multiple Units

The FirePro FPC-2 Fire Protection Controller provides monitoring, detection and automatic extinguishing using a linear heat detection cable and/or smoke detectors. Up to four outputs are provided while disconnection of any single unit will announce a fault condition. Volt-free contacts are available to signal fire and fault conditions to monitoring equipment. FPC-2 requires an external 24V DC power supply backed with 3A batteries.

Technology Benefits:

• Reliable & Cost Effective Protection

•Choice of Linear heat or Automatic smoke detection

• Offers a Fully Integrated System

• External Power Supply

• Optional GTN-25 magnets

• Fail Monitoring Status

•Connects up to 4 FirePro Units

FirePro Technology Advantages

FirePro offers a dependable and autonomous electrical cabinet fire suppression system. FirePro technology detects and suppresses fire inside the cabinet at a very early stage after its initiation. Fire is detected and extinguished speedily, thus preventing its spread to adjacent equipment. The benefit is equally crucial for premises equipped with water sprinklers since the activation is typically avoided along with any associated collateral side-effects.

Technology Benefits :
Reliable & Cost Effective Protection
Fail Monitoring Status
Choice of Linear heat or Automatic smoke detection
Option to connect up to Four FirePro Units
Offering a Pre-Engineered and Fully Integrated System
Always with FirePro’s Environmentally Friendly Agent
Optional Hybrid Power Supply option

The inability to operate after damage caused by an electrical fire can be far more costly than the loss of equipment. Consequential damages such as loss of business contracts and client trust is not always entirely recoverable. Adding to these, the environmental impact and the increase in insurance premiums the chain of loss becomes exponentially longer.
