SHE Award 2020

The adoption of prudent safety practices deserves to be recognised and rewarded. It is one of the most important aspects of any active risk correlated job that applies to millions of workers, engineers and technicians around the globe.

Awarding Health & Safety accolades offers organisations an opportunity to benchmark safety performance year-on-year and ensure consistent health and safety standards and practices across operations. They also provide an effective route to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety standards. Moreover, organisations that compete in award schemes, access valuable and influential networks of people and become a component of a caring community of industry professionals.

SHE Awards celebrate innovation and achievements in the health, safety, security and fire sectors in the United Kingdom. The Safety & Health Excellence Awards return each year attracting hundreds of entries across sectors.

The event incorporates the long-established British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Awards that promote the importance of innovation and highlight the highest standards of excellence in the realm of occupational safety and health.

It is an ideal opportunity to gather and celebrate excellence with a classic British flair. Event participants feast on a three-course meal, indulge in plenty of wine with the accompaniment of live entertainment. The Awards consist of 14 categories including, Health & Safety Manager of the Year Award, Rising Star of the Year Award, Innovation of the Year for Fire, Health & Safety Team of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, the Alan MacArthur Unsung Hero Award and many others.

SHE Awards have announced the winners of its delayed 2020 event after holding a digital ceremony, which was hosted by impressionist Alistair McGowan. FirePro UK for the second-year running was among the winners! This time round, honoured with the Innovation of the Year Award. A designation that clearly establishes the FirePro Product as the leading technology for a people-centric fire safety solution.

The Awards were held as part of the BSIF PPE Digital Conference, which attracted more than 1,100 registrations and saw 1,900 online chats between the delegates.
