Firepro Extinguishes Fire on Yacht

FirePro Extinguishes Fire Aboard Pleasure Yacht
 
A short circuit caused in the engine room caused a fire aboard a pleasure yacht with 52 passengers and 6 crew members.
 
The incident took place near Larnaca Marina, Cyprus on Thursday night, 2nd September 2010. Luckily the vessel was fitted with a  FirePro Condensed Aerosol Fire Extinguishing  System, which responded in time and extinguished the fire.
There was only minor damage to the engine room thanks to the efficient operation of the FirePro Extinguishing System, which prevented a major fire aboard, and possibly the loss of life or serious injury.
 
All passengers and crew were unhurt.
