Fire & Security Excellence Award 2019
FirePro is proud to announce that it was honored at the Fire & Security Excellence Awards, held on 20th November at the Hilton Park Lane in London.
Specifically, FirePro was presented with the prestigious Active/Passive Fire Project of the Year Award for the fire detection and suppression system installation at the Croydon University NHS Hospitals Trust in the UK. The FirePro system was put to the test when a fire broke out inside a critical healthcare process machine, and its immediate detection and suppression helped save the hospital significant losses, avoided the need for a Fire & Rescue resource, and kept hospital disruption at an absolute minimum.
Now in their twentieth year, the Security & Fire Excellence Awards aim to highlight the very best in people, projects, and processes that the security and fire sectors have to offer. The Awards are closely aligned with the IFSEC International and FIREX International exhibitions, and represent the largest industry networking opportunity, attracting more than 1000 members of the security and fires sectors worldwide.
The award was presented to FirePro UK Managing Director, Tony Hanley, and FirePro UK Quality & Technical Manager, Peter Blandon, both of whom commended the FirePro team for their continuous research and product development in the field of condensed aerosol technology.
