Expomin 2018

EXPOMIN, one of the largest mining tradeshows in the world, is a showcase that brings together the main players of the local and international industry and a meeting place for the realization of business. Between 23 and 27 April 2018, over 1,300 suppliers worldwide along with Chilean and Latin American professionals participated in this event, and more than 70,000 visitors attended it.

Exhibitors at EXPOMIN are given the opportunity to offer state-of-the-art solutions and technologies applicable to the mining companies and other industries that are part of the large mining value chain therefore the emphasis is firmly placed on innovation. This is vital to the mining industry as it needs to incorporate new technologies to design solutions for executing its tasks more efficiently and safely especially in extreme conditions where often complexities are faced and where it needs to adapt to environmental changes, shortages of critical utilities such as water and energy.

True Digital Systems (TDS), the exclusive and authorized distributor of FirePro Systems in Chile along with FirePro, jointly participated at EXPOMIN presenting the state-of-the-art FirePro Aerosol technology.

At the exhibition, TDS, Mr. Santiago Gross owner and General Manager and Mr. Alejandro Escalona, Sales Manager along with Mr. Nikolaos Argyropoulos, FirePro BDM, engaged in the exchange of ideas and solution proposals with Safety Engineers, Consulting Engineers, Technical Managers, Construction and Mining Companies and other stakeholders. They presented and increased awareness of the unique advantages of the FirePro condensed Aerosol technology and its adaptability to applications found in the mining industry including the latest certified fire detection and extinguishing solutions for the protection of electrical panels and different types of vehicles.
