The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has officially endorsed FirePro as being an acceptable fire extinguishing agent for use in total flooding fire suppression applications, in Normally Occupied Areas.
Specifically, FirePro (referred to as Powdered Aerosol E) is now listed as an acceptable agent in the Significant New Alternative Policy (SNAP).
Furthermore, in the framework of environmental issues, the EPA recognizes the superior green profile and signature footprint of the FirePro fire suppression agent. It highlights its advantages, such as the negligible global warming potential vs the fluorinated gas agents (HFCs) and many others.
Recognised by governments and regulatory authorities across the globe, the Listing is further assurance of FirePro’s international compliance to environmentally friendly fire protection issues.
Dr. Gian Guido Gianfilippi De Parenti, Executive Director and Head of R&D at FirePro comments: "This is a much-welcomed ratification from one of the most respected authorities in the world. It is also aligned to our dedication to meet or exceed the most stringent international standards".
