AMPS Technology & Innovation Excellence Award 2021

FirePro is proud to announce that it was honored at the AMPS Awards for Excellence 2021, held on 6th October at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.

Specifically, FirePro was awarded in the category of Technology and Innovation for a project involving the fire detection and suppression system installation within the landmark building of Lloyds London. This was a pivotal project for FirePro, as the historic Lloyds building required a replacement of its outdated pressurized gas fire suppression systems in three critical switch rooms. Due to the particularity of the space, FirePro’s condensed aerosol technology was deemed the most suitable solution.

A certified ‘green’ product, the much-trusted FirePro technology extinguishes fire at a molecular level, while its compactness makes it the ideal fire suppression system for installation where space considerations are of the utmost importance as is the case in the Lloyds London building.

FirePro was instrumental in allowing the client facilitate an extremely tight power distribution equipment replacement programme within budget, and on time.

A respected voice in the UK’s diesel and gas-engine power generating industry, the Association of Manufacturers and suppliers of Power generating Systems (AMPS) honors companies each year for their achievements within the generating set industry. The award was presented to FirePro UK Managing Director, Tony Hanley, who commended the FirePro team for their continuous research and product development.
